Hi all!
We did some changes on our setup and now got it working. What we did was:
- Adding a thorlabs 880-40 bandpass-filter. this one was worth every cent!
- replaced our two led-bars with new ones (485P instead of 485-2s)
- ourcamera is now next to the projector, also pointing on the mirror
- the beamer angle is more flat…this way we were able to eliminate the ghost images…
The accuracy of the blobs is awesome! enjoy the pics…

Hey guys,
Grats on getting your setup up and running! Looks great!
I’m actually working on setting up a multi-touch table of my own, and I had a quick question for you. I’m looking into getting a decent bandpass filter that will only let IR light into the camera…we’re using the same one as you (the Unibrain Fire-I with a wide-angle lens). I was just curious how you guys got the Thor filter you bought to work with the Unibrain camera…does it just fit over the lens? Or did you have to do some modifications?
